A Deer hit by a car on McKnight Rd. Steve, A good
Samaritan saw the deer get hit, the deer may have
been alive, but could have been suffering. Steve
then pulled the deer off the road and gave it an
injection that the vets use to put animals down. He
did not want the animal to suffer, in case he was
still alive..
Steve then called the police
A 911 tape showed the PGC was called to pick up
the carcass, but said they were too busy.
Police called PGC and the conversion was:
"I just wanna let you know
that the deer was euthanized so that way it gets
picked up".
The act of mercy got Steve
busted. He then left the deer with the police
officer, convinced someone would do the right thing.
PGC didn't see it that way. Steve go a citation.

Steve hired a lawyer and intends to take this to
a higher court if necessary.
Later, a PGC official was hiding from KDKA camera
crew, he then ran away when they tried to talk with
him.
Later the it was found that the Deer died from the
accident and not from Steves injection.
A permit is required to take or deal with any road
kill.
Steve had a rehab permit, and may now face losing
this permit all because he has a love for animals..
