PGC makes up the rules as they go along. Their main tactic is intimidation. They have been known to lie, even in a court of law while under oath. They are out of control and it is time for our elected officials to take notice and do something to protect the rights of their constituents.

Jean Williams I do not live in the state of PA, but I believe this is a national problem, even extending into Canada. The training and education of GC officers, should include the ability to apply common sense and treat each case individually. When officers become rigid and arrogant, in their single minded pursuit, they become bullies with badges, and that hurts all of our civil liberties. 

Mark Odum This is why all things should be federally controlled, this states of America mentality is outrageous to the our supposed united country. The PGC is a good example of a state group doing what they want like, totally disregarding the rest of the country. There should be no state laws, only federal ! Maybe then things would be less corrupt in this country.

John Green I live in Ohio and never plan to hunt pa because of the attitude of a lot of you fish and game officers.

************  NOW FOR MY STORY   *************

While driving in NY placing card's and flyer's for my shop I came across a dead... yes  dead bear along the road side and then was issued a road kill permit by the chief of police Mr.Santos  on the spot, as I was gutting out the bear .Then he also gave me a hand to load the bear into my truck so I could take it home..

Three or four weeks later I found out that my road tagged killed bear  was taken from the taxidermy by officer Bob Johnson a appointed PGC Officer, I found this out by a  phone call made to me by the Chief of police Mr.Santos in New York State witch had called me and said  I quote( I don't know who's bear was under investigating he's or mine) so I made to call to the taxidermy service and found it to be my  legally tagged road kill bear.

(1) Now for the fun part of all this Bull----. I was approached by Mr. Johnson a PGC Officer at my shop in Shohola, PA know as Grumpys Archery and Supplies  after several phone call to him he never replied , so I had to contact Harrisburg Office and you got it the next day... he was here where he informed me that he had taken my bear from the taxidermy because of a letter he claims he had, but did not show to me even as I requested to see this so called letter that started all of this. He then stated it was a anonymous letter and was not allowed to . Do we not have the right to face our accuser in court , or in this state? Or need to be proven guilty with out a doubt and not by hear say!! Or can we just accused anyone for anything with out proof.

(2) Mr.Johnson then had ask me to comply and he would not push for the full fine that would apply to this case. I told him to either issue me a summons or to leave the shop. As I was not going to admit to anything  I DID NOT DO. His reply was that he would go back yes a 2nd time to see Mr.Santos a New York Chief of Police  or even a 3rd time I don't know for sure exactly how many time they spoke with each other but it sure was a few times. Now remember that Mr.Santos is a New York Police Chief

(3) Mr.Santos also called me after yet another visit from Mr.Johnson and ask me to pled quilt to the charges and just go with the fines due to he could not afford a lawer and or would be facing state and Federal charges both in NY and PA.

(4) As I stated before I would not admit to  anything I did not do.

(5) As a result of this Mr.Santos was asked to resign from his position as chief of police or face legal charges for issueing the road kill permit and not reporting the tag as his responsabilty to the state. Now I wonder why he did all of this or... is their more to this story then is being told on his behalf. and why would he change his story to comply with what Mr.Johnson request. I just can not nor will not believe that after 18 years of service that i was chosen as the target of mis-justice to cover his past.

(6) I also came to find out that ARCHERY was open at this time in NY for bear and deer season. And later found out the bear was shot by a arrow as officer Johnson testified in court.

I myself was found guilty after asking for a new date to appear cause of my lawyer was not able to show due to a mix up in the office oh by the way this call was made from the court house. Advised by my lawyer I went into the courtroom and ask this was denied by officer Johnson .So the case of taken a bear out of season in my yard began witch is not the case at all, One hunter and Archery Dealer Please note the only Archery shop in pike county and yes that would be me!!! Against the Judge, game commission officer Bob Johnson  and Chief of police Mr. Santoes which issued the tag (who do you think is winning this one)
